一打一打金槌を打ち込むことによって作られた、やわらかい雰囲気が日常へ取り入れやすい田中さんの作品。真鍮アイテムがひとつあるだけで食卓が引き締まります。しずくのような形のこちらの小皿は、ソースや薬味などちょっとしたものを盛る他に、アクセサリーや鍵を入れる小物入れにもぴったり。空気中の硫黄ガスに反応して徐々に黄土色へ経年変化し、酢の物など強い酸性にものに長時間触れていると黒ずみやすくもなります。真鍮独特の味わいとして「うつわを育てる」感覚でお楽しみ頂ければ幸いです。

Crafted by repeatedly hammering the brass by hand, this piece by Mr.Tanaka has a soft, inviting character that blends naturally into everyday life. Just one brass item can bring a refined accent to your table setting. This small, droplet‑shaped dish is perfect not only for serving sauces or condiments but also for holding accessories or keys. Over time, the brass will gradually develop a warm ochre patina as it reacts with sulfur in the air. It may also darken if left in contact with strongly acidic foods such as vinegar for extended periods.
