一打一打金槌を打ち込むことによって作られた、やわらかい雰囲気が日常へ取り入れやすい田中さんの作品。真鍮アイテムがひとつあるだけで食卓が引き締まります。銘々皿やパン皿、コースターとしても使いやすい万能サイズなお皿です。
空気中の硫黄ガスに反応して徐々に黄土色へ経年変化し、酢の物など強い酸性のものに長時間触れていると黒ずみやすくもなります。真鍮独特の味わいとして「うつわを育てる」感覚でお楽しみ頂ければ幸いです。

■どうしても黒ずみ等が気になる場合は、タワシやクレンザー、真鍮専用磨き剤などで磨くことで元の色に戻すことができますが、通常時は柔らかいスポンジで研磨剤の入っていない中性洗剤で洗ってください。

Created by repeatedly hammering the brass by hand, this piece by Mr.Tanaka has a gentle, approachable character that fits naturally into everyday life. Just one brass item can bring a sense of refinement to your table setting. Its versatile size makes it ideal as an individual plate, bread plate, or even a coaster. Over time, the brass will gradually develop a warm ochre patina as it reacts with sulfur in the air. It may also darken if left in contact with strongly acidic foods such as vinegar for long periods.
