それぞれ異なる木の性質を活かし、くり抜かれた手彫りの跡と生漆を何度も塗り重ねた「拭漆」の落ち着いた風合いが特長。フォーマル過ぎず落ち着いたぬくもりを感じさせるマットな黒トレイです。手彫り跡による僅かな凹凸が、うつわの滑り止めとしても活躍。見た目以上に軽く使いやすさと美しさを兼ね備えています。

Black Square Tray by Keisuke Fujiwara
Crafted to highlight the natural character of each type of wood, this tray features hand‑carved marks and a calm, refined finish created through multiple layers of raw lacquer using the fuki‑urushi technique. The matte black surface offers a warm, understated elegance without feeling too formal. The subtle texture from the carving also helps prevent tableware from slipping. Surprisingly lightweight, it combines both beauty and ease of use.
