何百年という時を経ても美しさを失わない朝鮮の李朝時代や桃山時代などの古陶磁などから学び、独自で陶磁器製法を確立されたタナカさん。素朴ながらもタイムレスな美しさが特長です。こちらはオランダ・デルフト地方の陶器がインスピレーション源となった近年の代表作。真っ白なクリームのような色合いやぽってりとした厚みのある風情が食卓をあたたかく演出してくれます。ご使用頂いているうちに貫入（釉薬の表面に入るヒビ）が入る場合もございます。このうつわならではの味わい深い風情としてお楽しみください。

Delft Rim Small Plate by Shigeo Tanaka
Mr. Tanaka has developed his own unique ceramic‑making techniques, drawing inspiration from ancient Korean Yi Dynasty and Momoyama‑period pottery—works that have retained their beauty for centuries. His pieces are characterized by a simple yet timeless elegance. This recent signature work is inspired by the traditional pottery of Delft in the Netherlands. Its creamy, pure‑white color and softly rounded, substantial form bring a warm and inviting atmosphere to the table. Over time, fine crackles may appear in the glaze (kannyu), adding depth and character unique to this piece. Please enjoy these natural changes as part of its charm.
