A rare butterfly‑shaped small plate created by a skilled and established Kutani ware artist. The diagonal stripe pattern gives it a modern touch, while the design beautifully blends classic Kutani style with a sense of cuteness and contemporary flair—very characteristic of Hiyama’s work. It’s perfect for pickles, condiments, or dipping sauces, and its slight depth also makes it suitable for soy sauce with sashimi or as a small side‑dish bowl.
